Allegory of the Cave and Matrix Comparison Essay

When you think of the earth that Alice Liddell dropped into and believed to be authentic, you might think the lady was a lunatic living in a great imaginary universe. Yet in case you really think about this, how do you understand that her globe isn't genuine, and ours simply a great illusion that veils our eyes in the reality? Who's to say can be real, and what just isn't? There are two very different, but eerily precisely the same stories that expand on the ideas of reality, plus the truth that may be found within it. One, a modern movie, called The Matrix, where a person learns that his race is being manipulated by a robotic race. The human race comes from a lab-created world, where they are ignorant of the world that lies outdoors their imprisoned minds. The other a classical composition written by Plato, called " The Allegory of the Give. ” In the essay, Bandeja entertains the theory, of what prisoners who are elevated in a give, where almost all they can know to be true is shadows on a huge wall that they can gaze for their complete lives. They contrast in lots of ways, yet above the centuries seeing that Plato's period, the concept of the his composition still is applicable.

Morpheus says, " The Matrix is a computer produced dreamworld. ” This Dream-world is much like the shadow photos that the criminals in Plato's cave knowledgeable. The People in both believed the deceptiveness that veiled them from the truth to be real.
